Hi Readers! This is Pariswi and I’m sad to say that……….. SCHOOL IS OVER.

So, I won’t be able to exactly write about my exciting school days. I remember that in class today (By the way, School was over ay 12:05 instead of the regular 2:05)  most of the girls (yes, including me) cried after viewing the slideshow about our school year. It was jsut so sad! We all didn’t want to leave the class and Mr.Callison. He has been the best possible teacher ever. I could never ever think of a BAD memory in the class. I already miss everyone. I said bye to most people in the class but I kind of already miss everyone. I just wanted to say THANKS to all the readers. You have been following the blogs and announcements in our web-site. Thanks!

Hi blog readers!!!!!!! This is Pariswi and I’m sad to say, we only have a week or two left of school.

Soon, a new group of students  might be writing later this year but GUESS WHAT? I have a back up plan of r everyone to hear from me!!!!!!!

    Hi Readers!!! So yesterday (Thursday) we performed a play called “We Come From…Everywhere!” in front of our parents. We actually performed in front of three classes before that just to know what it feels like before the BIG performance (parent performance). Well, when the night of the performancecame we had to introduce ourselves by saying some stuff about our families and our part in the play. Mines was “Hi, my name is Mandy. My family comes from a city in China called Guangzhou. My parents came to California because they wanted to be together with their parents. Tonight in the play, I play the part of Rachel who is a mail-order bride who was living in Russia. Have a good evening!” I was last so I was satisfied because I had more time to practice. I mean, I’m not saying I didn’t practice but I just wanted to practice some more. You know what they say, “Practice makes perfect!!”. Though in my opinion it wasn’t that perfect. Then we had to (obviously) do the play!!! When it was my turn I had to wear this Indian thing called a shawl that looked very similar to a veil. Why I wore that was because I was a MAIL-ORDER BRIDE. At least I had some support up there singing with my friend Octavia. It was fun..but wait there’s more!! After we had AWESOME refreshments from everyone like eggrolls, ice-cream, noodles, soda, and cake!!! There was a lot more but I forgot the rest!! Still I give credit to all the people who brought al the yummy food!! And that is the end of this tale. Bye!!!

I mean if there were only adults then sooner or later all the adults would die out and the world would die! I mean it would literally die. No kids mean no future. Do you get it now?      Hey guys!!!! Mandy here!!! Wow!! I’m so shocked!! Did you see the new website improvements!! It looks so cool!!! I’m pretty amazed! Also did you guys see the new post from Mr. Becker to our class! That was nice of him!! I’m not going to post much today because of the new and improved site!! This site changes like us over the course of the year…

      One day we’re really bad at something and the next thing you know we’re like pros at it!!! I guess we learn more then just all the subjects in school…we learn skills that we never knew before!! That’s pretty amazing at least to me. Room 18 is like a…team!!! And I guess all that happens at the end of the year. Now that I think of it, I’m pretty sad about leaving Room 18. But you never know. Maybe some surprises will show up next year like this year had. Well I guess that’s it for this post!!! Bye!!!

           Hi readers!!!! Mandy here!!! OK, so Pariswi and I have decided that the schedule we made was a really bad one and we decided not to use it anymore and just post anytime we went. I think that idea was a good one and so does Pariswi. That’s all the news I have for you about the blog. Now for… Sacramento!!

           We went to Sacramento on Tuesday, May 27 and it was super-fun!! I loved every single millisecond of it!!!! First at 7:00 something we boarded the Capitol Corridor at the Centerville Station. Then we hung out on the awesome train, bought food, and had loads of fun!!!!! But not as much fun as we did in Sacramento (OK I think I’m just going to BOLD Sacramento every time I type it.)!! Or as some people call it Sac or Old Sac (where we also visited during our awesome trip!!!! The first thing we did in Sacramento was ride the Lightrail and then walk a little bit to the STATE CAPITOL!!!! We actually went inside the Capitol building and we saw the legislature vote on brand-new bills!!! It was a once-in-a-lifetime thing that happened to me. After that we ate lunch while people protested about something…not sure what it was about. Then we walked all the way to Old Sacramento and it was BOILING!!!!! My mom (who was chaperoning during the field trip) said that it was actually cool for the people in Sacramento. OH MY GOD HOW DO PEOPLE LIVE IN THAT WEATHER!!!! I bet that the people in Sacramento think it’s freezing here when it’s like 70 degrees out here. My group bought ice-cream because it was so darn hot!!!! I got rainbow sherbet. Yum yum!! Then we went to the Sacramento History Museum to learn more about the gold rush!! Part of that was getting to pan for real gold!!! The pieces were really tiny and I didn’t get one single piece!! I’m still happy for the people who did get gold!!! Then we went on the train again (walking of course) and at about 6:00 we got back to the Centerville Station!! Yipee!!!! What a cool day!!!! Hello Readers! This is Pariswi and I just wanted to say….. SORRY! I have not really been following that schedule that Mandy created so…. yeah. I’m so excited! You know why? Find out in this post!!!!!!!!!!!

So I’ve been excited because this weekend is a long weekend and I can relax because we have no homework this weekend!!! Tomorrow, at around 7:00 a.m. my family might go to a place to be able to pick cherries at this place! It’s so cool! On Sunday, I think we’re going to go to the beach with my brother’s friends. I’m so happy! So this post is going to be kind of short.

On Tuesday (Monday is Memorial Day)……. Room 18 hits the road and decides to head to Sacramento for educational experience from

6: 45 a.m (I know! It’s really early for me! ) and returns at 6:10 p.m!

So… I’ll post tomorrow and let you know what goes on then! See ya!

           Hi hi readers!!! So I have some very very very exciting news!!! This week I went to a piano exam at some church (forgot name). I played two songs, Jocularity (by Thompson) and Chanson (by Faber). There was a judge named Betty and she judged me and I got 35 points. The highest was 36 points (at least for me though) so I got first place in the exam!!! Yay!!! Everyone was super-happy for me!! It was one of my best days ever!!! I didn’t get a trophy I got a certificate/report card. Happy days, happy days, happy days for me!!!!! I thought I was going to get a big, fat zero. Man was I wrong!!!!

          After that my mom and I (she was there for my exam. I can’t drive yet so yeah.) went to Baskin Robins to get me something to eat or drink. I got a strawberry smoothie (or whatever they call it). Then we went to Safeway to buy some  squash for my little sister (mushed up squash EWWW!!!). My mom said I can buy some stuff if I wanted so I got two chocolate croissants and Lays (sour cream). Lastly we went to Subway to get a sandwich for me to eat tomorrow!!! YUMMY!!!!! I got turkey, olives, mustard, mayonnaise, salt and vinegar, tomatoes, lettuce, American cheese, and cucumbers. My bread was Itailian bread. Fancy!!! That was the end of my shoopping spree!! Or should I say food shopping spree??? How fun!!! Well later readers!!

Hey readers! What’s up? This is Pariswi and welcome to the blog!!!! Today,  I thought the day was really exciting because… well, I’m just going to write about my two highlights today! Sorry, I have not written in a few days because I have had some important stuff to do. I just never got time to write. Anyways……. lets get started!

I’m first going to write about the prgogram called Scratch. Scratch is aprgogram like Mr.Callison said which is a program for ages 8 and up about animation (little movie like shows) and just plain fun! Today, we were introduced to this program by Mr. Becker (thank you Mr.Becker! ) and his son Brian (a student in the class and one of my good friends) . I partnered up with my good friend, Sydney and together we produced a short film about two best friends (me and her) not knowing what to do one hot, summer, day.  Thanks to Brian, we made our movie exactly like Sydney wanted it.  Everyone came over in small groups to see ours and at least 6 people copied our characters our our setting or our plot. I was really proud that everyone liked ours!

Next…. I’ll talk about the book fair that I bought my brother two Scooby Doo books and a pointer/pencil/eraser! It’s a cool school fair that has lots of books and small items and posters that you can buy! GUESS WHAT? I forgot to buy myself some thing!!!!!!!!!! Oh well, my happiness comes from my brother’s happiness. Let’s wait to see his expression later! Ok… bye! Thank you for reading the blog!!!!!!

hi GUYZ! Vicky here! Sorry for not posting in a long time. The problem is that I just can’t think of anything to write about! Well, today I am just going to write about science. Cause yesterday and today we did a lot of science and I mean a lot! We almost work for the whole day! We had to do slideshow and posters and even games! I had some problems with my friend, but now it is all right! Now I am going to talk about the field trip. One thing is that I can’t wait to go! But the bad thing is that we have to wake up very early to go.  Also we will get a workbook when we go. So yeah…. Well… That is all I want to say for today. So Vicky’s out!

         So this week Mr. C has started giving us brain teasers. They’re fun but challenging. Well, duh that’s what brain teasers are for!!! Here is a brain teaser that I found online:  You walk across a bridge and you see a boat full of people yet there isn’t a single person on board. How is that possible? Tricky, huh? I’ll give the answer to you next post. Today we did lots and lots of science. Why you ask? Because tomorrow is the last day to prepare for our presentations!! So, basically everyone in the class worked their butts off preparing for it. So yes. Today one of my friends, Sarah showed us rocks that her grandpa gave her. They’re really cool!!!
