Dear Room 18 Students and Families,
Congratulations to all students in Room 18 for doing so well on the STAR test. Our class once again contained two students who scored a perfect 600 on the Math section of last year’s STAR test! Congratulations to you and everyone on working hard last year!
I am here in Bloomington, Indiana now. I started my Phd. classes at Indiana University this past Monday and I know all of you will start class tomorrow, Wednesday, September 1! Here’s to another great year!
Don’t forget to be kind to one another, ask for help whenever you don’t understand something, and always work hard! I hope that you will take with you all the skills and lessons you learned in Room 18 and put them into practice as you learn and grow this year!

Great to hear from you Janelle. I am so glad that you are having a fun year with Mr. Liebig! And, I am glad that you are using skills you learned in 4th grade! What skills do you think have been the most helpful for you so far? I have 1 week left in the semester and then I get a winter break! It snowed here this week and has been really cold!

I am doing really well, but to be honest I miss you all so much!! I think about all my former students often and wonder how you are! It really means a lot to me that you check in and tell me what’s going on!

How does middle school compare to Pioneer?
Yes. I do miss you.
It is different but it is still great. I miss recess, capture the flag. There is always the lockers and pe. Do you have any friends ? Even though I am at middle school I still am a part of pioneer.
